The manufacture and maintenance of the windscreen area on a train can range from the replacement of a full windscreen panel to simple wiper and headlight maintenance.
Carriage nose end access is often be as important as the access required around the windscreen. Many operations will take place inside the carriage so good access is essential to ensure acceptable productions rates while maintaining high levels of safety.
With the use of levelling jacks, a jacking castor system and rail wheels, one unit can work on any combination of roads.
